iEat Green Shares Interview with Darina Allen from the Ballymaloe Cookery School

Hi Everybody,

I had a great interview this past Thursday with Darina Allen about the International Food & Drinks Literacy Festival that she and her family started 5 years ago, also known as LitFest 2017! It started as a smaller, local festival and has now grown into one of the most sought after food festivals in the world, and it is coming up this month! She and her brother also run the Ballymaloe Cookery School, which they started in 1983. The cookery school has had thousands of students pass through its doors since and now enjoys a world wide reputation for excellence. Darina has authored of over a dozen cookery books, her latest ‘30 Years at Ballymaloe’ is a celebration of the 30 years of the cookery school.

If there is any way you can join the Festival, it’s runs from May 19th to the 21st, you should consider going. There is a great line-up of speakers, presenters, chefs, and tastings, all weekend long! If you missed our interview, you can listen to it here.
