Yesterday, I interviewed Travis Slagle, the Horticultural Therapy Director for Pacific Quest. Pacific Quest is an unique, outdoor, educational therapy program, located on The Big Island in Hawaii. They specialize in working with young adults and struggling teens in a whole person, wellness program, that is focused in the garden. Using the real life experiences that take place in the garden as tools for living, Travis and his colleagues are able to help these young adults and teens, successfully integrate back into their families and communities.
