iEat Green Is Settling In and Interviews Dr. Robert Graham on Food, Cooking, Farming and Integrative Medicine

Hi All,

It isn’t everyday that one gets to meet a doctor that understands the connection between food and health, let alone a doctor that believes in the healing power of farming, cooking, and meditation. Well, I am happy to introduce to you Dr. Robert Graham, a doctor that incorporates all of that into his Integrative and Complementary style of medicine. I first met Dr. Graham at this years TEDx Manhattan, after his presentation on “Farewellness: Back to Our Roots” in which he described the program he started for doctors, where he actually teaches the doctors how to cook. In his revolutionary understanding, he realized that you can not expect doctors to tell their patients how to eat healthy, if they have no clue how to eat healthy for themselves. He started a culinary program for residents and doctors at the Natural Gourmet Institute, where he is teaching basic cooking skills and the benefits of a plant based diet for health and healing. He promotes using food as medicine, instead of a “pill for every ill.” Please join me on Thursday for what promises to be a very engaging conversation. robertgraham-334x233
