iEat Green Heads to LA for “Wild Vessel”; Help Us Build the People’s Climate Movement!!; Think Twice Before Getting the Flu Shot; Jonathan Forgash, Chef and Founder of Seek Servana, Joins Bhavani on PRN

Hi Everyone,

I am very excited to be heading to LA to prepare some empowering food for an event called Wild Vessel. Wild Vessel is an event who’s time has come, along with the #MeToo and #TimesUp movement. It is an immersive evening of women (and some men) coming together to enlighten their senses, and create a safe, mystical, feminine embraced event that will foster self-expression, deep learning, community connection and personal transformation. I am looking forward to being a part of this happening! If you are in the Los Angeles area, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

If you are East Coast based, don’t fret! Wild Vessel is coming to NYC on April 7th. Stay tuned for more info!!

Next Tuesday, February 20th, from 6:00-8:30pm, people from every borough, Westchester and Long Island, will come together to make 2018 a year of historic steps on bold climate action and environmental justice.  The Peoples Climate Movement NY needs all of us to join these efforts. The meeting is at the Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Sq. South, NY (Google Maps) Please RSVP HERE for this event and more information. The meeting will open with comments from Leslie Cagan, a leader in the Peoples Climate Movement, NY and Rev. Brain Ellis-Gibbs, the Interim Executive Director of Faith in New York. Mark your calendar now and be sure to RSVP for this important gathering. Please tell your friends and share their Facebook Event page: Peoples Climate Movement 2018 Kick-Off Event

There is so much talk about this years Flu virus being so virulent, and how everyone needs to go out and get the flu shot! Yet, this year’s flu shot is only 10% effective. The 2017-2018 flu strain is not responding to the vaccine, whether it is because of the eggs being used to create the vaccine, or whether the virus has mutated and adapted so much since the start of developing the vaccine that it has become ineffective, doesn’t really matter. The issue that bothers me, is that the whole medical industry is pushing the vaccine without any mention of potential risks associated with getting the shot. I hear constant advertisements about the vaccine. We also know that most of the studies that are done on a drugs effectiveness is done by the drug company creating the drug. They stand to either make a lot of money or lose a lot of money, so they have a conflict of interest when it come to a recommendation. So basically, what I am suggesting is that you do your own research and come to your own decision, and don’t “by in to the system”, just because your doctor says so. The pharmaceutical industry and medical system is a well greased machine that requires everyone’s by in, to make it all work, and to make them a lot of money. Why not consider boosting your immune system to help ward off the virus. Did they ever think of that? What I’ve been using for years, that I highly recommend is Zand’s Insure Herbal Immune Support. It works magic. And if you feel like the flu may be coming on, quickly take the homeopathic remedy, Occilicocinum, and get in bed. You’ll wake up feeling like a new person! These days you can even get it at most drug stores or you can order it from Amazon.

I’m very excited to introduce to all of you, Jonathan Forgash, who will be my guest this week on the Progressive Radio Network. Jonathan is the chef and founder of Seek Servana, a culinary service for those being challenged by cancer and other illnesses. Seek Servana is the pairing of two ideas. Service unto others and providing a sense of peace. Jonathan’s mission is to give his clients knowledge, confidence and inspiration to create their own meals that will support their mind, body and kitchen. He knows that foods with “emotional content” are the secret to his client’s recovery and wellness. This vision is at the heart of his personal consultations and public speaking, and I am thrilled to have him share his passion with us. Please join me on Thursday for a great conversation and story!
