iEat Green Gears Up for the Women’s Retreat this Saturday; Bhavani Interviews Michael Phillips, The Organic Apple Grower!

Hi Everyone,

I am glad to be back from my travels, and am looking forward to this weekend! On A_Women_39_s_Retreat-1Saturday, for the first time, my daughter Elana Meta and I will co-host a Women’s Retreat, where we will be combining our talents, and bringing a full days workshop to the women attending. The day will start off with movement and meditIMG_1303ation, where we will have the opportunity to experience movement though the different elements that exist in nature, and connect with our shared feminine energy. We will then move on to a vegetarian cooking class, where we will learn to make Thai Summer Rolls, Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms with Asparagus IMG_4208and Peppers, and a Vegan Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake to die for! There is still space in the class. You can sign up here!

This week, my guest on the Progressive Radio Network is Michael Phillips, author of The Apple Grower, and founder of the community orchard movement, Grow Organic Apples. Michael is a farmer, writer, carpenter, and orchard consultant, who grows organic apples at his farm, Heartsong Farm, in northern New Hampshire. I am thrilled to have Michael on my show, to share his knowledge on how to grow organic apples and cultivate an organic orchard. Please join me on Thursday for this informative show.picking_apples
