iEat Green Gears Up For Slow Food’s Terra Madre! Eveline Hartz Joins iEat Green on the Progressive Radio Network to Talk about the “World On Your Plate” Conference

Hi All,

I’m getting excited about my upcoming trip to Italy! I am going to be a U.S. Delegate at the International Slow Food Conference called Terra Madre in Torino, Italy, starting on September 22nd, and going through September 26th. The conference is a huge event, with opportunities to meet Slow Food Delegates from around the world, participate in workshops and tastings, sit in on talks and presentations from small farm producers and food Terra Madreactivists, and collaborate on ways to reduce food waste, improve our food system, and spread the Slow Food message far and wide! It will be an inspirational few days, and I look forward to bringing that inspiration back into my community!

This week, on the Progressive Radio Network, I am happy to introduce to all of you, Eveline Hartz, a member of the “World on Your Plate” Committee. In it’s 13th year, World on Your Plate is a conference that focuses on Food, Nutrition, Environment, Farming and Politics. This year, the conference will be Friday, October 7th, beginning at 5pm, and continue until Saturday, October 8th at 5pm at Daemen College in Amherst, NY, near Buffalo. Eveline HartzDSC00075 - Version 2 is a retired RN & health coach and has always been interested in nutrition. She is a graduate of the Integrative Nutrition Network and has been an integral part in making this conference a success since 2004. She co-founded and chairs Green Cuisine, a monthly gathering of people interested in wholesome, nutritious foods and is active in NYS efforts for mandatory labeling of GMOs.
