I’m very excited to be working with Slow Food North Shore again, to bring their Food and Film Feast to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock this Friday, October 7th at 7pm. The event is an enchanted evening of short documentary films, paired with a speaker and food for each film. We will be serving a six course meal, highlighting local and organic food, prepared with the principles of Slow Food and iEat Green. If you can make it, there are still tickets available. My guest this week is Pietro Guerrera, the General Manager from Eattiamo, an artisanal delivery service, bringing authentic Italian food to your door step. Pietro, and his team, have made personal relationships with more than 80 small food producers in Italy, and they curate each box to bring you the ingredients for a 3 course meal for 4 people, complete with recipes and stories. I met 2 of his partners while at Terra Madre, and had the opportunity to tour Ceretto Vineyards, one of the vineyards and hazelnut farms that they source from. It was a delight.
