Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Will Allen, one of my true heroes in the Good Food Movement! Will is the Founder and CEO of Growing Power, a non profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy, sustainable, and accessible food to our diverse communities. His mission is to teach, through hands on training, demonstrations, and outreach, and to provide technical assistance to Community Food Systems that help people grow, process, market and distribute food in a sustainable manner. Growing Power has over 70 programs, including an Immigrant Farming Project, a Day Care Garden Project and a Farm to School Program.
