This morning I had a great interview with Dr. Bob Brinkmann, Professor and Director of the Sustainability Studies Dept. at Hofstra University, who’s focus is on urban and suburban environmental sustainability. His work with the students has inspired many great projects and internships that are geared directly at improving sustainability on the local level, and he is working with the community organizers to bring the next Long Island Food Conference to Hofstra University in April of 2015. As a Professor for Sustainability Studies, Bob has been writing a new curricula for both the undergraduate and graduate level, and will be coming out with a new text book on the subject.
