Last Thursday, I had a great interview with Danielle Nierenberg, President of Food Tank, a wonderful non-profit organization working to build a sustainable community around healthy food. This year, they have been celebrating and promoting the International Year of Family Farming, sharing their stories and raising awareness about the amazing innovations taking place around the world. They are working to combat issues around lack of access to affordable land, food waste, food equity, and the true cost associated with cheap food.
