iEat Green: An Interview with Betsy Davidson

Yesterday, I had the privilege of interviewing Betsy Davidson, the new Editor of the all new, Edible Long Island Magazine, scheduled to launch in September. I can’t explain how excited I am for Long Island to have enough interest and substance to qualify for the Edible brand of Magazine. For those of you not familiar with Edible East End, Edible Brooklyn or Edible Manhattan, the Edible branding is equivalent to “locavore, good food movement, sustainable, community, farmers and farmers markets, and artisanal foods, local breweries and local wineries.” Basically, everything that is important to me!

Edible Long Island already has an active Face Book page, and they are posting articles and stories that relate to our local food movement. Please don’t be shy! “Like” them on Face Book, and let Betsy know if you have a story worth sharing, or an article you would like to write. And of course, they are always looking for wonderful photos of farms, food, and everything in between. Check out our interview below!
