October 2nd, Weathering the Storm: Restoring Faith, Justice and Resiliency to Climate-Impacted Communities

October 2, 2014 @ 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Can we safely transition to a green economy without compromising the growth of developing nations already experiencing a disproportionate climate change burden?

What will inspire all of us to make climate justice a priority for the 2015 climate summit?

How do we help climate-vulnerable communities develop the deeper roots that will allow them to bend but not break when the next storm hits?

From increased flooding to extended droughts, braving new climate change realities will present challenges for already struggling communities across the globe. Anticipating what the justice implications could be, and developing effective solutions to face them, will be the topic for discussion at our annual event on October 2nd at the Copacabana in NYC.? Hear from the prophets and innovators who are at the forefront of climate justice working to ensure that we are all able to weather the next storm.
