October 19: How To Make Boudin (Louisiana Style)

Join us Margaret Read and Ken Jones as they teach you how to make a boudin and a newer Southern favorite, boudin balls. Boudin (pronounced “boodan”) in Louisiana is different from versions you’ll find in other parts of the world. At its simplest, it is a combination of cooked rice, pork, onions, green peppers and seasonings.
The class is Thursday, October 19 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and will be held at CitySeed (817 Grand Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511). Tickets are $9 and can be purchased here.
