The City of Water Day Festival is a free day-long celebration of the world-class potential of the water that surrounds us and brings us together. The event draws thousands of people to participate in hundreds of waterfront activities. It’s a fun day to explore Governors Island. This is an excellent opportunity for us to reach out to a diverse group of people and inform them about climate change, the urgency to move away from fossil fuels and implement renewables. We will also explain the danger of the Port Ambrose LNG project and ask people to sign petition to Governor Cuomo to veto Port Ambrose. We would very much appreciate it if you would come and help.
