What: Rally and Party to Celebrate New York’s Fracking Ban
Where: Empire State Plaza, Albany until 12:30, then party at nearby Hilton Albany at 40 Lodge Street

We need your help in making this rally huge. It’s important that we thank Governor Cuomo for his leadership on fracking and for standing up to the oil and gas industry. At the same time, we need to encourage our other elected officials to follow his example in transitioning away from dirty fossil fuels.
Overturn Citizens United
On January 21, 2015, the fifth anniversary of the infamous U.S. Supreme Court Citizens United ruling that opened the floodgates to money in our elections and the day of Governor Cuomo?s State of the State, concerned New Yorkers will travel to Albany for a rally to call upon New York legislature to become the 17th state to call for a constitutional amendment to reduce the growing influence of money in our democracy.? The rally will take place at 10:30 a.m. at ?The Well? of the Legislative Office Building. We will march over to the State of the State at Noon.
