Friday, December 5th, is World Soil Day, which starts the UN International Year of the Soils. “Symphony of the Soil” will be the final presentation in a daylong celebration of soil. Ignacio Chapela from UC Berkeley will join Director Deborah Koons Garcia for Q&A after the film. “Symphony of the Soil” will also screen at The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN in Rome that day.

In honor of World Soil Day, and the beginning of the UN International Year of the Soils, we are streaming “Symphony of the Soil” for free on the UN website and our website for a week starting December 5.
