NYC AFRICAN FOOD FESTIVAL 2016
The NYC African Food Festival offers an opportunity to see and taste a wide variety of African foods, and connect with some of the best African chefs, food experts, and curators in a festive, vibrant NYC atmosphere.
The day-long festival will be curated to include a wide variety of meals representing every corner of the continent with a few new treats thrown in as well. Healthy and nutritious food options (with an emphasis on vegetarian and vegan dishes) will also be available for sale.
The festival will focus on food, safety, and health, and will feature:
African Restaurants
Rising star African chefs
Sample dishes
Cooking demos
Over 25+ participating restaurants and chefs
Cookbook publishers
Food from around the globe (with an African twist)
Day-long Sunday brunch party with African treats (stay tuned for more)

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, ID’s will be needed for purchasing drinks
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There are parking garages in the area, but we highly recommend walking, biking or the subway because of the potential demand for parking lots.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Please don’t bring food, drinks, physical objects or pets.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It will be helpful if you did but we don’t mind helping you check in with your ID so we can save some trees.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets purchased are final. Unless the event is canceled, or postponed, tickets will not be reimbursed or refunded.
