Join the People’s Climate March in WA DC

3 days to go! This video will tell you everything you need to know about the Peoples Climate March — if you plan on going, then here’s the information, including what time to arrive, where to meet, and what to bring. Watch it, share it, and take care in DC on Saturday!

Ban Fracking in the Delaware River Basin

“Fracking the Delaware River Basin could threaten the drinking water supply for 5 percent of the U.S. population – 15 million people, including millions of people in New York. That’s why the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) imposed a moratorium on fracking in 2010 to protect the river basin while considering regulations….We cannot afford to wait and see what might happen to the Delaware River Basin in the Trump era.

To protect the health, economy and natural environment of communities all around the Delaware River Basin, the DRBC needs to permanently ban fracking.”

Tell Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the four other members of the Delaware River Basin Commission: Ban fracking!!!

Protect the EPA

“Cuts in the EPA budget mean no one is watching the polluters. No one will be there to make the polluters pay for cleanup and the costs of sick children from with asthma, cancer, birth defects, and so much more.

Rather than weakening the EPA and environmental protections, we should be strengthening rules to protect communities from the impacts of factory farms, fossil fuel production and use, and other pollution sources, and we should be working to ensure all people have access to clean water, safe food, and a livable climate.”

Test Our Food for Chemicals

Glyphosate is the world’s most widely used agricultural chemical, and our government must do everything in its power to ensure this herbicide is not harming our food or public health.

Let’s keep up the pressure on policymakers in Washington!

Please click here to sign our petition demanding the USDA test our food for glyphosate.

Fight Hunger and Famine NOW

“20 million people – including over one million children – are at risk of starving to death right now in Somalia, South Sudan, northeastern Nigeria, and Yemen.”

Act now!!! Tell Congress we must provide emergency funding TODAY to help millions fight famine. They’re voting on this funding THIS WEEK – so we have to act fast.
