An Interview with Ayla Nereo & Jasmine Saavedro of “Pushing Through The Pavement: A Permaculture Action Tour”

Hi Everyone,

Last night, I went to Pure Food and Wine for my first time! I know it is hard to believe that I hadn’t been there before, but going out to dinner for raw food is a hard sell to many people. I don’t go out to dinner that often, especially in the city,?and when I do, I am usually with a group of people, and they want more mainstream food. So last night was really special! It is so refreshing to see such creative, artistic presentation going into the creation of delicious, high quality, vegan, raw food. My daughter and I splurged on the Chef’s Tastings, which allowed each of us to experience 5 different dishes, so that we could share and sample most of the menu.? The presentation was beautiful, and the fresh flavors of all of the ingredients, left us more than satisfied and fully satiated. I highly recommend giving Pure Food and Wine a try!

Tomorrow, on my radio show, I am so excited to introduce to all of you, two women who, along with David Sugalski, (aka The Polish Ambassador,) are setting out to transform the way we think of concerts! Ayla Nereo is a musician, who sings?like an angel, and tours with the Polish Ambassador,?Screen Shot 2014-08-20 at 8.50.02 AMand Jasmine Saavedro is a permaculture farmer & dancer, and one of the organizers of their upcoming tour. This tour is unlike any they have done ?before, because this time, they are using their platform to merge sustainability and celebration, by bringing their fans together to build, grow and plant?community gardens, in every city they play in. They are calling it “The Pushing Through the Pavement: A Permaculture Action Tour” where fans can sign up to work with permaculture experts in each city, the day following the concert, and make it all happen. They have started a crowd-funding campaign, and I am thrilled to help them make this a reality, and I hope you will help them too. To find out more information about their Permaculture Action Tour, please join us on Thursday at 10 am, EST, and listen to the interview, and go to their website by clicking here.

If you can?t tune in at that time, you can listen to the show in the?PRN archives,?or on my website, or through iTunes.
